Oxford Street Madness

It has been a while since we last spoke..
And thats because I was very busy being happy haha.
Last weekend I went to London for three days and I didn’t have time to blog and this past week was busy with work (my vlog will be at the bottom of this blogpost).
But here I am, back in the blogging sphere!

London Was Amazing!

Like, really though! This trip was unreal. I loved (almost) everything about it!!
I had my flight on Friday morning which was a bit stressful because my flight with British Airways got cancelled for some reason and I only found out that same morning!!
So I booked a different flight with KLM because BA said the next flight would be Saturday, and that was NOT an option!

So after that whole drama I went to the airport, got on the plane and landed safely in London. The view from the airplane was amazing! I was sat by the window and you could see the whole of London. You could see the parks, the Tower Bridge, the Big Ben etc. – I was very happy with my seat haha.

I arrive at my AirBnB a little to early but it was fine and I could go into my room right away. So after I was settled in I decided it would be a good idea to just go shopping. If I just go shopping right away than I will have time over to do touristsy stuff – so I did.

Oxford Street Madness

I took the tube (!) and I got to Oxford street. Immediately there were hundreds of people everywhere (mostly tourists) and I felt a little bit overwhelmed.
So what do you do when you are overwhelmed? Yes, you go to Primark. Best. Idea. Ever…
NOT!
So after 30 seconds I walked out – this Primark might be big, but the amount of people in there was just out of this world. Crazy to think that so many people can function properly while shopping in Primark.

As I walked out I was kind of looking around to see what I should do next and then I realized that I am not in a hurry. I am all by myself (that sound sad) and I don’t have to take anyone into account. So for about three hours I shopped (or tried to shop) till I dropped. No that didn’t happen, but I did do some damage for my account. But YOLO right?

Btw, the rush hour at Oxford Circus is just crazy!! Never seen anything like that! In the middle of the crazyness there was a very good band playing.

Superdrug Heaven

The makeup in the Netherlands is pretty expensive. So the minute I got into Superdrug I got a basket and basically started putting a lot of stuff in it.
There are more brands and more products so I was kind of in makeup heaven.
I kind of went like this: *looking at the makeup* “AAAAH I NEED THAT!! OOH AND I NEED THAT TOO” and “I don’t need that but.. I WANT THAT!!”

And even though you can’t really see all the stuff in there – because my RealTechniques brushes are in the way – but believe me, there is a lot in there!

Eating Alone Is Not Fun

After shopping for a couple of hours I decided to get dinner at Nando’s.
I had never been there before but I had heard a lot of good things about it.
I only got a wrap because I didn’t really understand the concept. It was good though.
I also walked around Westminster/Soho and after that I went back to my room.
